Want to know about up-and-coming music in the South West music scene? Last month we were greeted by a punk rock fusion of music from Mothman, The Man, Fluff, Captain Prang and Tinned Fruit at Woodland Social Club in Falmouth. First of all, what a killer line-up, second of all, this was an event you did not want to miss!

Opening the night was Mothman, The Man, with lead singer and guitarist Connor, Billy on the drums, Lewis on the synths, Charlie on the bass and Finley on the guitar. Think psychedelic garage rock blended with a whole lot of synth magic. This band is already making a splash on the South West music scene and is set to do big things in the future.

Next up, the one-man punk band, Fluff, took to the stage with a type of energy you will only experience at one of his gigs. He performed some fresh new material and had a shiny new LED ‘FLUFF’ sign which lit up the whole room!

Following that, the four-piece post-punk band CPT. PRANG. ripped into mosh pit mania, absolutely shredding their performance. With their raw post-punk sound, you could completely tell they had a passion for performing.

Now get ready to be blown away… Tinned Fruit is BACK! The room was filled with belting powerful vocals, lots of head banging and hard-hitting energy from the whole band! Near the end of the set, they moved the entire drum kit to the centre of the dance floor taking centre stage for the crowd and rounding off a night of stellar performances.

These bands are all making their mark on the South West music scene and are certainly ones to watch, so be sure to give them a listen on all major streaming platforms.
