Noisy Women (Podcast)

Words by: Chloe Burrows-Bryan

Where the satisfying sound from live gig venues has been rather sparse, like a depressing tumbleweed covering ground on an empty stage, the time has come to originate some noise, and orchestrating this is the wonderful Em Marcovecchio. Following her recent success from her first podcast, the photographer and creative has returned with a fabulous season two of Noisy Women!

Em has invested her time into building powerful, impactful relationships with those she has photographed and has provided a prodigious platform for inclusive femme voices. This ranges from Musicians, Photographers, Radio Presenters, Managers and Journalists, in the aim to highlight the extraordinary female talent prominently making their mark on a largely male-dominated industry.

Season two launches today (19th of November 2020), with episode one premiering on Friday 20th November 2020 with special guest, Lauran Hibberd, a singer-songwriter from the Isle of Wight.

New episodes of season two will be available on all major streaming platforms every Friday until the end of January 2021. They will feature incredible women such as, Toni Coe-Brooker (Venue Manager), Abbie McCarthy (BBC Radio 1), Rachel Chinouriri (Artist), Maria Torres (Artist Manager), Lindsay Melbourne (Photographer and Director), and many more.

With a broader avenue of musician fields, Noisy Women season two hopes to bring inspiration, behind-the-scenes revelation and a sprinkling of normality back into these confusing times.
