With just a few more weeks until a highlight in the festival calendar, Boardmasters is shaping up to be an incredible long weekend of live music. To get you into the festival spirit, we’ve put together a guide of 5 acts that will be bringing the party vibes to Boardmasters 2025!
Maribou State
Earlier this year, the electronic duo returned with their latest release, Hallucinating Love, an uplifting album that seamlessly transports you to a festival field. Think house, indie pop, and downtempo genres blended with soothing, uplifting beats that direct you to a dreamy, sun-soaked beach (or sea view field for that matter). A refreshing sound. A place to chill out and soak up the atmosphere!
The Wombats
A festival favourite, the indie rock band will be taking to the stage for an energetic performance. Expect punchy riffs, high-tempo beats, and an eclectic stage presence from start to finish. Get ready to bounce and sing along to some certified songs of the summer!
Ocean Alley
You’ll probably recognise the song Confidence, a huge hit on social media over the past year. Now, the band behind the track will be taking to Boardmasters 2025! The psychedelic surf rock band are sure to bring sunny guitar riffs with reggae undertones and syncopated baselines. It’s beach vibes all around. Watching Ocean Alley live is an experience that’s certainly not one to miss. The band have a truly wholesome connection with their audience, get ready for a sea of swaying hands and a roar of Ocean Alley lyrics being belted out from the crowd for this one.
Rizzle Kicks
The British hip-hop duo are back! It feels almost like a nostalgia-infused comeback with a modern twist, and we are so here for it! With newly released music, the Rizzle Kicks are a force to be reckoned with. Energetic and feel-good with pure upbeat, catchy hooks and memorable lyrics to sing along and dance to!
Myles Smith
From a rising musician discovered on TikTok to performing a Main Stage set at Boardmasters 2025, the Stargazing singer-songwriter comes fresh off his UK tour for what is a highly anticipated set at this year’s festival. South West band, Tors, recently joined Myles on his tour – what a lineup! Myles Smith has gained the award for Brits Rising Star 2025, following in the footsteps of Boardmasters alumni Sam Fender. Think soulful melodies, catchy hooks, and a harmonious voice peppered into a folk pop sound!
